How to Maintain Best Practices in Audiology

As I summarized in a recent blog, and in the introduction to a “Future of Audiology” presentation, I gave in June 2014 a series of lectures in Australia. I was in Perth as a guest speaker at the Ear Science Institute of Australia where I was asked to speak at a dinner meeting one night to audiologists on the topic of Best Practices in Audiology. I used the accompanying PPT presentation in giving this lecture, with a focus on how a busy clinical audiologist can maintain current knowledge of audiology research. Remember … best practice is evidence-based practice (EBP). Elsewhere among the Lecture Topics page you’ll find a more detailed procedure based review of the topic of Best Practices in Audiology Today.
